Samsung Galaxy Tab

samsung-galaxy-tab-3-10.11When it comes to tablet PCs, Samsung’s devices are divided into two categories: the Galaxy Note range and the Galaxy Tab range. While both of the ranges have an array of excellent devices, the Note range is geared towards the higher end of the tablet PC market and the Tab range has more entry-level devices. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.2 is an excellent device for those who are looking for a versatile tablet PC that is capable of fulfilling a range of tasks.

The device sports a bright and clear screen as it offers 1280 x 800 pixel screen resolution. This means that you can watch television programs and movies in high resolution. In addition, Samsung have thought about those who want a tablet which they comfortably read eBooks on as the device can be put into a Reading Mode which provides an improved reading experience.

While Samsung’s 10 inch tablet is a large device, Samsung have made a serious effort to make it as portable as possible. Indeed, the tablet weighs a mere 510 g and is less than 8mm thick. Despite its slim and lightweight design, Samsung have given the device a premium feel by incorporating some of the design aspects from the successful, high-end Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. As well as the traditional monochrome options, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is also available in a vibrant red and a gold brown shade, all of which feature a faux metal chrome trim around the edge of the device and has a faux-leather back panel which makes the device comfortable to hold and prevents it from slipping out of the user’s grip.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a front-facing 1.2MP camera and a 3.2MP main camera. While these are hardly the best cameras on the market, they are more than capable of taking a few snaps or holding a video call.

The 3rd generation of the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet is a significant jump up from the previous model as the new edition features Samsung 4.2 Jelly Bean and Bluetooth 4.0. As the device runs on one of the most recent editions of the Android operating system, it is incredibly easy to use and it gives users access to Google’s burgeoning library of games and apps.

When it comes to choosing your perfect Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, there are a range of choices. Like the majority of Samsung’s Galaxy range, the device is available in a range of colours and there is the option to either purchase a Wi-Fi model or and Wi-Fi and 3G model which requires a separate 3G data plan. The tablet is offered in 2 memory sizes: 16GB and 32GB. However, don’t despair think that 32GB won’t be enough for all your data as both of the models come with a microSD slot which means that you can expand the tablet’s memory by a further 64GB.
